With much debate over what is law and what is not, many have called for the return of Civics into the school curriculum.
Civics is the study of the theoretical and practical aspects of citizenship, its rights and duties; the duties of citizens to each other as members of a political body and to the government. It also includes the study of civil law and civil code.
Attorney General, Levi Peter, has backed these suggestions for the return of civics to the classroom saying that the constitution should form part of this subject area.
However, in the meantime, he has advised the general public that the constitution is available online for their leisure.
