Agriculture Minister, Johnson Drigo, has reiterated his call for farmers to form groups in a bid to be more effective.
Drigo was speaking at the launch of the Cochrane United Farmers Group on Sunday.
Drigo says this allows not only for the sharing of knowledge but also for the support in the market process and the coordination of inputs.
Meanwhile he says non-compliant farmers are posing a problem in the fight against the dreaded black sigatoka disease.
