The Government is continuing to invest heavily in livestock and fish production in efforts to reduce the percentage of imported meats into Dominica.
The latest step into increasing livestock rearing is the training in artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
This was announced by Agriculture & Fisheries Minister Johnson Drigo.
According to Drigo, fishermen can expect production to increase by 10 - 15% as a result of new equipment being made available this coming week.
