Attorney Anthony Astaphan calls for police to take more action when threats are made against the public peace.
He says when such threats are made, those responsible should be taken in for questioning. He commended the police for effectively managing the Salisbury and Marigot Protests.
Astaphan made the call for a review of the “interception of communications legislation” to give police the authority to secure court orders, which will allow them to monitor the communication activities of those who pose a threat to public peace.
