Linton added that the by-election was a disrespect to the intelligence and independence of the residents in the Grand Bay Constituency.

Prime Minister Roosevelt says the $275 Million supplementary items discussed in parliament is money well spent, as there is a strong possibility of daily flights from Miami to Dominica from January 2022.He listed some projects to be developed, the Portsmouth administrative building being a top priority along with abi-pass. Along with the other promises, the finance minister says government is looking to develop the tourism attraction to the boiling lake, and stronger ties with international airlines to have frequent flights into the country come 2022.
