Attorney Anthony Astaphan takes issue with St. Kitts PM’s suggestion of 2-term limits for Prime Ministers
Meanwhile, Attorney Anthony Astaphan responded to Prime Minister of St. Kitts & Nevis Dr. Timothy Harris suggestion that an individual should not serve more than 2 terms in the office of the prime minister.
Speaking on state owned DBS radio, Astaphan stated that Harris seems to have neglected an essential part of the democratic process, as only the President or Governor General can appoint a country’s leader.
Astaphan went on to say that it is up to the people to decide whether or not a leader should be voted out of office, and not an outside politician.
