Camrann George and Malik Darroux who represented Dominica in this year’s Caribbean Junior Culinary Conference and Challenge held in Barbados last week, captured the Bronze medal, with their ‘Signature Dish’ and ‘Mystery Round’ performances, as well as the media presence and public speaking prize. The team was led by Coach Paul Bert from the St Mary’s academy’s 4-H club.
The conference was held under the theme “Celebrating Culture through Caribbean Cuisine”. Malik and Camrann both say the experience was a great learning experience, and they look forward to sharing the information received at the conference with other interested youth.
