Meanwhile, Former IMF Economist Dr Thomson Fontaine says the ‘CBS 60 Minutes Passport for sale’ feature honestly portrayed the CBI Program in the Caribbean. Dr. Fontaine says that program expressed the same concern articulated by Opposition forces here, about the CBI program.
Many here have expressed concern over the program mainly as it relates to its due diligence process, and for accountability in the use of funds generated from the program.
The CBS program featured Opposition Leader Lennox Linton, and Antigua & Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne among others.
Dr. Fontaine says the program was very clear about the ‘under the table’ dealings within these passport programs in the Caribbean region.
He says it brought to light the gaping holes in Dominica's program.
