The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) says it has found that the health emergency operation centre was a high performer post tropical storm Erika.
Deputy Director of CDEMA Elizabeth Riley told a national after action review of tropical storm Erika last week, the health emergency operating centre can be a model for the Caribbean.
She also says other sectors in Dominica need to conduct their own reviews on their performance post tropical storm Erika.

Meantime, Dominica’s Chief Medical Officer Dr David Johnson says Dominica must put new measures in place, to deal with the impact of storms in the future.
