Former assistant chief education officer Arundel Thomas stated that despite PM Skerrit’s boasts of being in charge of the agreement, the funding from oil sales has been unaccounted for however the new government has already made plans to look into the Petro Caribe agreement. Thomas expects that the new government of Venezuela will improve the relationship between Dominica and Venezuela making it a relationship between two sovereign countries.
