Cuban Embassy donates 64 cartoons (600) energy saving light bulbs to the community of Fond Cole4/11/2016 The Cuban Embassy has donated about 64 cartons (600) energy saving light bulbs, to the community of Fond Cole. The bulbs were presented to the Chairman of the Fond Cole Improvement Committee, Dexter Honore by Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Juan Carlos Frometa de la Rosa on Friday 8th April 2016, at the Fond Cole Community Centre.
Parliamentary representative for the Roseau North Constituency, Daniel Lugay said the community treasured the long standing Friendship of the Cuban people, that he is truly thankful for the donation. Cuban Ambassador Juan Carlos Frometa de la Rosa noted that while Cuba doesn’t have a lot of money and natural resources such as oil, “we always share what we have. We have love, and that is why we have a Cuban medical group here for many years, and this small gift is another way to share what we have,” he added.
