DAPD Executive Director hopes access for persons with disabilities will be addressed in Roseau Enhancement Project
Executive Director of the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (DAPD), Nathalie Murphy, says she hopes that access to the physical environment and public buildings will become a reality for disabled persons here with the proposed Roseau Enhancement project.
Manoeuvring around the capital city and the lack of proper access to public buildings has been a concern of the DAPD for quite some time. And while some business owners have taken the initiative to provide wheelchair accessibility at their establishment, there are still many without it.
In a recent interview with Q95 news, Murphy says she hopes the needs of persons with disabilities will be incorporated into that project.
