Developed countries view SIDS as hubs for fraud says organizer of 8th Regional Annual Anti-Corruption Conference
One of the Organizers for the upcoming 8th Regional Annual Anti-Corruption Conference in Antigua Kim Warner says, many powerful countries internationally see the Caribbean region as susceptible to be major hubs for money Laundering Activities.
Warner added that although most of these views by these countries are negative, most times they are not necessarily true. However, Warner did point out that in any case the small developing states are significant in the fight against money laundering and other methods of fraud, as this will ensure that the corresponding banking relationship between small states and the developed countries remain strong.
