​Director of the Forestry Division Minchinton Burton says a Wildlife audit will take place under the World Bank Agriculture Project, in order to have an official count of the wildlife species in Dominica.
 
He says post Hurricane Maria in 2017, there have not been any specific, scientific survey of the distribution of the wildlife, to know exactly what is out there.

Meanwhile, Burton says this audit will assist in making recommendations to the cabinet re: hunting season.
