Disaster officials are urging Dominicans to cease from encroaching on the riverbeds. This as the 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially got underway Wednesday. Disaster Risk Management Specialist & Consultant within the Office of Disaster Management Cecil Shillingford says persons living close to the riverbanks need to be removed. Shillingford says it is time that Dominicans heed the advice of the authorities and stop intruding on the riverbeds.
