Dominica Christian Union Church partners with Caribbean Nazarene College (CNC) in Trinidad & Tobago, to offer a Ministerial Training Programme in Dominica
The Dominica Christian Union Church partners with the Caribbean Nazarene College (CNC) in Trinidad and Tobago, to offer a Ministerial Training Programme in Dominica. A press release from the union stated that the purpose of this training is to equip church leaders for more effective service to the Church and the community.
The training which is administered under CNC’s Lifelong Learning Programme, will lead to a Certificate in Theological Studies and a Diploma in Ministerial Studies over a study period of two and a half years each. The National Coordinator is McDonald Thomas and classes are conducted through online lectures and presentations by both CNC and local instructors.
The first Students’ Orientation was held on Saturday September 12, 2020 with a cohort of 15 students from seven different communities in the country.In addressing the function, Bishop Lennox Timothy, District Superintendent of the Christian Union Church, expressed his appreciation to CNC for their partnership in this initiative. He wished the students well and congratulated them for taking on this challenge. The next semester begins in January 2021.
Meanwhile, CNC’s President, Dr. Orlando Seale, welcomed the students to CNC and extended God’s blessings to them.
