According to one media entity in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica may be linked to the resignation of LIAT’s Chief Executive Officer David Evans.
However spokesman for PM Skerrit, Senior Counsel, Anthony Astaphan, stated that it is unknown whether the resignation of LIAT's CEO David Evans had anything to do with the letter written to LIAT by PM Skerrit.
He says PM Skerrit had made numerous appeals to the company to increase their flights to Dominica, however they were unheeded.
He went on to say according to the prime minister's letter, by providing only two flights to Dominica, and re-routing other flights through Barbados, the company committed geographical genocide.
