Dominican architect, Severin McKenzie, has proposed a two pronged approach towards the development of a National Hospital for Dominica.
McKenzie says given Dominica's vulnerability to disasters, it would be prudent to have health services in the North which could provide services like that of Roseau.
Mckenzie says that the Roseau area has enormous environmental risks, and based on statistics it is not a matter of if these environmental disasters will take place, it is when.
He was speaking directly to volcanic activity in the south.
