​Dominican born US-based Molecular Microbiologist and Immunologist Dr Swinburne Augustine says the AstraZeneca Vaccine and Vaccines in general are safe, contrary to conspiracy theorists on Social media.Dr Augustine spoke on Q95’s ‘Talk on the Block’ Friday and said, sharing correct information is one way of giving back to the country which has given him so much & he feels that sharing his professional knowledge might help persons may make better-informed choices as it relates to being vaccinated during this pandemic.
 
Dr Augustine says Vaccines are not new & improved technology and financing over the years, has facilitated better & more expeditious research that deals with vaccines and DNA.Speaking on the credibility of the AstraZeneca Vaccine and the process by which it was developed, Dr Augustine explained why this Vaccine was created so quicky and why the AstraZeneca Vaccine doesn’t need to be stored at Minus 70 degrees like the others now on the Market.

​He dismissed conspiracy theorists claim of DNA Alteration by the AstraZeneca Vaccine.

​He said as regards side effects, persons react differently to medication, and given the millions of people world, each person’s internal process is unique.
