Dominica's Environment Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux has urged World Leaders to take the necessary actions in order to save the planet from the effects of climate change. Dr Darroux last week addressed the 22nd conference of the parties (COP22), which took place in Marrakesh Morocco.
Known as the international political response to climate change, the high level conference is organized by the US framework convention on climate change.
Delegations from the 195 countries which have ratified the convention meet every year to review the convention's implementation.
The last such meeting COP 21 was held in Paris France in 2015.
Dr Darroux says the agreements of COP21 need to be implemented as soon as possible.
Dr Darroux says there is no room for indecisiveness as it relates to climate change.
