Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is now claiming that the implementation of Electoral Reform is being held back by the very ones who say they want it
Prime Minister Roosevelt delivered an address on Thursday, in which he is now claiming that the implementation of Electoral Reform is being held back by the very people who say they want it.
He spoke on the dissemination of information by local political figures and the media, including the long awaited implementation of electoral reforms.
Meantime, the Prime Minister says that in the interest of all, to work toward ensuring that citizens get the widest possible opportunity to discuss all issues, and to have the benefit of input from persons who can bring in an outside perspective to bear on the issues, he has taken a decision to invite CARICOM, the Commonwealth Secretariat and the OAS to mount a joint mission to Dominica to meet with the government, political parties and other stakeholders.
