Director of Tourism, Colin Piper, says he was pleased with what he saw at this year’s Jazz & Creole Festival. Piper spoke to reporters Sunday at the Cabrits National Park in Portsmouth where the event was being staged. Piper says while it was difficult to tell if this year’s festival surpassed that of previous years in terms of attendance, from what he could see the numbers looked good. Piper says among the main objectives of hosting the show at Cabrits is to assist in the economic activity in Portsmouth. He says close attention is being paid to how much space there is to determine how to go forward with next year’s event. Director of Tourism Colin Piper
