Domlec says it will be undertaking a comprehensive engineering assessment, to determine whether there has been any erosion or undermining of its power supply lines, following recent inclement weather conditions.
The company's Generation Manager, Dave Stamp, is of the view that damage caused to a section of its hydro-pipeline, running from the freshwater lake to the Laudat Power Station, was as a result of recent bad weather conditions.
This damage has resulted in the company's hydro-generating capacity being cut by 50 percent.
Meanwhile, he says the company is still completing restoration work following Tropical Storm Erika.
