DPSU General Secretary criticizes long period public servants are made to act, without being appointed
Dominica Public Service Union General Secretary, Thomas Letang, laments that many public officers have worked in vacant positions for years, without being appointed.
He says this process reduces productivity, as these individuals are aware that they have wasted their years in service, as their gratuity payments only come into effect, from the date of their appointment.
