DPSU General Secretary Thomas Letang wants Government’s proposed Hospital Authority Bill to be delayed before it goes to Parliament, as it would negatively impact the benefits of persons now employed
The Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) General Secretary Thomas Letang is calling for the DLP Government’s proposed Hospital Authority Bill to be delayed before it goes to Parliament.
Letang says certain concerns were raised in relation to the health authority draft at a recent meeting between the Union and Health Practitioners last week.
He says it was concluded that the Bill cannot and should not be rushed because, if passed in its current state, after its enactment,it would negatively impact persons who are now employed, especially in relation to their benefits.
