DPSU proposes a 15% salary increase to Dominica government for rise in public servants salary for 2015/2018 period
The Union representing the largest body of public servants on island is proposing a 15% salary increase to the government of Dominica for a 3 year period.
General Secretary of the Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU), Thomas Letang, say this increase is for the period 2015/2018.
In December 2014 the union accepted the latest government wage increase offer of 5% over the last 3 years.
Letang says back then the offer was accepted after careful analysis and pointed out it was in the best interest of public servants.
Here’s what he says about this new proposed salary increase.
