Minister for Education, Octavia Alfred says the rehabilitation of schools has been a long and difficult road. However, she says most schools have reopened with the most recent being at Salisbury and Wotten Waven. She added that considerable investment has been made in the education sector, particularly over the last few years. She was speaking at the Commissioning of the Morne Jaune Primary school on Wednesday, which was funded by the Canadian Government and the CDB. Meantime she says works are almost complete at Mahaut, and that $4Million school will open soon.
