Education Minister, Petter St Jean, says Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has given his commitment to a meeting with executive members of the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (DAPD), to address their concerns. The Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities held its 32nd Annual General Meeting Monday under the theme “Affirmative Action for the Realization of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Sustainable Development Goals. Education Minister Petter St Jean spoke on behalf of the Prime Minister. St Jean also said that the Prime Minister directed him to engage a group of persons to look into the role that the DAPD can play, in advancing the interest of the disabled community in Dominica.
