Education Ministry says everything in place for effective functioning of new Newtown Primary School

All is said to be in place for the effective functioning of the newly constructed Newtown Primary School.
The school is expected to be officially commissioned this year, but the signing of the handing over certificate upon the completion of the school took place Wednesday.

St Jean says work is still ongoing on the school grounds, and it is expected to continue well into the month of February.

Meantime, Chinese Ambassador to Dominica His Excellency Lai Jang-Jing says the construction of the Newtown school is another example of the strong friendship between Dominica and China.
