Executive Member of the DPSU and Former President of the DNA, Rosie Felix, says NHC’s proposed Dominica Hospitals Authority Bill opens Health Workers to Victimization by removes Union protection
Executive Member of the Dominica Public Service Union and Former President of the Dominica Nurses Association, Rosie Felix, says the National Health Commission’s (NHC) proposed Dominica Hospitals Authority Bill, exposes Health Workers to victimization.
Felix points out that regardless of the recent statements of NHC’s member and Former President of Dominica Eliud Thaddeus Williams, this Bill in its current form, removes Union Protection from employees, while taking away current employment benefits in law for Health Workers.
Rosie Felix told Q95 recently, she believes this bill will be amended appropriately due to the stance taken against the NHC’s current proposals, by Public Officers and their respective Unions at this time.
