Farmers and Hucksters here are being advised that that the traditional practices used in marketing agricultural produce is no longer relevant and cannot be applied in 2016 and beyond. This advice came from Acting Prime Minister, Rayburn Blackmoore, as he addressed the commissioning of two DEXIA multi-purpose pack houses last week. Blackmoore says famers and hucksters must ensure that produce is properly packaged to meet required international standards. He says these pack houses will assist in this regard. Meanwhile, he says the DLP administration is embarking on a number of measures to get farmers and hucksters here to buy into the idea of adopting best practices.
