Five awarded at Dominica’s 11th Annual Tourism Awareness Month celebrations

Margel Durand, Simon Rolle, , Gerry Aird, Johann Werner and Jungle trekking and Adventure safaris tours were each awarded for their dedication to their fields within the tourism sector during the launch of Tourism Awareness Month Wednesday.
His name synonymous with tourism development over the years, Mr Aird was awarded The Director of tourism award for his hard work in developing Dominica’s tourism sector. 

Recipient of the Tourism minister’s award was Mr Johann Werner proprietor of Salton Waterfalls. According to the presenter selecting an individual or enterprise for this award each year poses a challenge as so many within the sector have worked hard to distinguish themselves, making the division one of the most advanced in country.
