Fmr Police Officer says National Security Minister made a grave mistake appointing Daniel Carbon as Police Chief
Former Police Officer Wayne James believes that National Security Minister Rayburn Blackmoore made a grave mistake, when he decided to appoint Daniel Carbon as Police Chief on July 6th 2012. James as well as a number of Officers, are of the view that Ivan Alexander should have been made deputy Chief, and Hobbs Jno. Baptiste should have been made Police Commissioner.
However, according to Mr. Wayne James, due to political scheming, although Daniel was less qualified, he was given the job as Police Chief, and Hobbs Jno. Baptiste was made Deputy Chief of Police.
Earlier this week, National Security Minister Rayburn Blackmoore made some negative assertions regarding Mr. Daniel’s effectiveness as Police Chief, and in managing the department’s affairs. Blackmoore expressed the view, that there are insufficient patrols around the city of Roseau.
