Former Agriculture Minister in the UWP administration, Peter Carbon, states that he has seen a deterioration in the quality of life in Dominica over the past 19 years
Former Agriculture Minister in the UWP administration, Peter Carbon, said he has seen a deterioration of the quality of life in Dominica over the past 19 years.
On the program ‘Patriots on Q’ Mr. Carbon made mention of the 10-member, Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA), formally initiated by Cuba and Venezuela in 2004, stating though other countries participated in ALBA, Dominica is fully implementing the objective of ALBA, which he believes seek to starve the people of opportunities outside the control of government.
Carbon implied that the National Employment Program (NEP) is an example of Dominica implementing the objectives of Venezuela’s ALBA.
Carbon believes the glaring failure of Dominica’s agricultural sector is systematic of a much bigger problem than just political in-fighting and inter-changing political figures or candidates.
Carbon stated that it is not about ‘red’ or ‘blue’.
