UWP Senator, Dr. Thompson Fontaine, says he is not afraid of any imminent legal suit that may be filed against him by Prime Minister Skerrit.
His comments come following statements by Attorney Anthony Astaphan, indicating that the Prime Minister had given the go-ahead to initiate legal proceedings for alleged defamation statements made against him.
Speaking on a local radio program Tuesday, Astaphan said the allegations being made against Mr Skerrit involved him in the selling of passports, stealing of money, and being investigated by the US Department of State.
He said "This hysteria, this smear campaign, led by Lennox Linton, Gabriel Christian, and Thompson Fontaine has to end.”
But in response, Dr. Fontaine says he is not afraid of any such law suit.
