Former Minister charged with investigating increased cases of school drop outs on the island, says she’s sure to get results
A former minister who’s been tasked with investigating the increased cases of school drop outs on the island says she’s optimistic she will reap results.
Gloria Shillingford, the former Community Development & Gender Affairs Minister, has been entrusted by the Roosevelt Skerrit led administration to investigate the increased cases of drop outs among students in Dominica.
She says as a former educator she has no doubt she will achieve results.
Meantime, Shillingford says this issue is a major concern, and although a number of interventions have been made by the government, the rate is still high.
