Founder of ‘Transition Movement’ alerts Dominica that putting all its eggs in one basket is not sustainable
One of the founders of the international "Transition Movement", Naresh Giangrande, says while ownership of a geothermal plant may be beneficial to Dominica, he is sceptical of the sustainability of the project.
Giangrande says he has travelled the world with the “transition movement”, an organisation which helps support local communities in becoming more self-sufficient, in the face of climate change and over-reliance on oil.He says it seems like Dominica may be putting all its eggs into one basket, and this is not a sustainable solution for the country.
