Government has signed another contract this week, this time for the supervision of works at the Douglas Charles Airport rehabilitation project.
The contract was signed between the Government and La Robe Creole Ltd and will include repairs to the three taxi ways, drainage rehabilitation and repair to the runway among other things.
Chief Technical Officer in the Ministry of Public Works and Ports, Emile Lancelot, says the project will last approximately four months and the supervisor consultant will represent the Government on site to ensure that works are done in a timely manner.
The Government signed an EC$31.27m contract with SOTRADOM SAS in March to undertake rehabilitation works at the Douglas-Charles airport.
