Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, says the Government has engaged an international firm to assist in developing a settlement plan for the hundreds of Petite Savanne residents displaced following TS Erika.
Speaking on a local radio program recently, PM Skerrit said it is not just about constructing homes. " We want to ensure that we create a community" aid PM Skerrit.
Over 800 residents of Petite Savanne were evacuated from their community following TS Erika in August 2015.
Meanwhile, PM Skerrit said a number of factors have to be taken into consideration to include construction of playing fields and recreation centres as well as setting up of businesses among others.
