Meanwhile, strict measures have been put in place for trucks partaking in the 2016 Carnival Opening Parade on Saturday.
Among the measures include a height limit of 14ft per truck, additional lights will be installed aboard the trucks, as well as proper protective gear for persons charged with handling the low lying lines during passage.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Richmond Valentine says these actions are in an effort to ensure the safety and security of all lives.
Valentine says this year the trucks will be inspected prior to coming out on the road.
He’s also calling on band members to be proactive and assist the police in dealing with disorderly conduct.
