The government of Dominica is said to be looking at strategies to manage the threat of leptospirosis on the island.
This as the Ministry of Health & Environment in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), officially launched a study to assess the prevalence and to identify risks of leptospirosis in Dominica.

The study is being funded by PAHO in the sum of US$15,000 and will be conducted over a 6-month period.
