Government has finally paid outspoken Salisbury Farmer Hillary Shillingford for his services, following a letter from his attorney, who is also his daughter. Shillingford contends that his invoice was being held up by recently retired Government Auditor Clarence Christian, but evidence now shows that the allegations made against him by Clarence Christian, about a truck for which he bought for someone named Silvia Vidal, were dishonest.
Christian had reportedly stated that Hillary may have presented different bills to Dowasco, and to the government of Dominica. Shillingford now says, based on the quick response from the government’s financial centre, the motive of Mr. Christian appears questionable. Mr. Shillingford expounds further on the matter.
