Government has reportedly engaged in discussions with an investor, who is interested in bottling and exporting Dominica's water. Two weeks ago Prime Minister Skerrit revealed that representatives of an investor seeking to invest in bottling Dominica's water and trading in bulk water would be on island.
The parties concerned are also said to be considering purchasing a vessel to facilitate exports, and a bottle manufacturing plant is part of the project. Officials report that following visits to various sites with DOWASCO, the parties concerned have chosen to market the country's spring water.
Acting PM Dr Colin McIntyre says the meetings were highly successful, and the representatives were pleased with their findings.
