DLP legal Adviser, Senior Counsel Anthony Astaphan, says they have prepared a response to a pre-action protocol letter of the Joint Consultative Committee on the Construction Sector (JCCCS).
The Government was given until midday today to respond to the letter after being unable to meet the 4pm deadline on May 25th 2016. Speaking on state radio, Astaphan says in their response they have indicated two positions on behalf of the Government which show that the award of the contract to Barbadian company NSG Management and Technical Services Ltd was not in breach of the Public Procurement Act.
