Meantime, the Ministry of Health & Environment is upping their efforts where the killing of the Aedes Mosquito is concerned.
This as the Zika virus is spreading across the Caribbean with health officials here predicting an imminent effect on Dominica.
Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Environment Ivor Stephenson told a press conference here recently that several measures are in place to kill off the mosquitoes that spread the virus.
He says both chemical and biological methods are being used.

Meantime, Chief Environmental Health Officer Anthony Scotland says Dominica has been battling with the issue of vector control and has not been successful.
