Health Minister describes as mischief making the politicizing of the temporary closure of the Marigot hospital
Health Minister, Dr Kenneth Darroux has described as mischief making the politicizing of the temporary closure of the Marigot hospital.
The hospital was closed temporarily after mold and fungus were discovered in the building and its services were moved to the Wesley Health Centre.
And MP for Marigot Lennox Linton said the government was using the Marigot hospital to play politics with him and the UWP.
Approximately M$1.4 will be spent in repairs on the current building in order to make it reusable for some months down the line.
Dr Darroux says a new hospital for Marigot is still on the cards because it is a policy decision of the government.
