Health Minister tells health care providers say positive things about the Princess Margaret Hospital12/15/2016 Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux is encouraging health care providers to say positive things about the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH). He spoke at an award function at the PMH on Wednesday.
He said “Too often, we hear too much of the negative things, and when the positive things happen, we need to speak out about them. I think sometimes the responsibility is yours, as the health care providers”. Darroux made reference to a woman from Tete Morne, whom he said was in the ICU, and was expected to die. However, she made a remarkable comeback. “I saw her on Glover Ward, talking bright, and telling me she wants to go home to eat her smoked meat, and whatever the case may be, for Christmas. I think somebody from her visiting party, told her that people need to speak about these things.”
