Meanwhile, Dominican Historian Dr. Lennox Honeychurch says despite a packed program, UWI’s agriculture themed country conference came at an opportune time, as this is a crucial period for agriculture in Dominica.
He commended the University for its initiative of allowing a study of the region to be open in each community, and said this is an excellent example of what the “Open Campus” is truly about.
Dr. Honeychurch is to be one of the featured presenters of the Country Conference 2016, Food for Thought: Ensuring Sustainability through Food & Nutrition Security and Resilience in the Nature Isle.
