If people who are in positions of authority, feel like just getting to that position is the end game then they have it all wrong, says Agronomist, social activist and former Agriculture minister Atherton Martin.
Mr. Martin was speaking on the level of short sighted-ness as it relates to manufacturing and economic stimulation by persons who hold positions of authority within society.
He was addressing the potential of cannabis-based products being manufactured in Dominica, so as to allow people to get a piece of the multi-billion-dollar pie.
Martin is of the view that these persons who are in the positions of authority to make/enact change are just satisfied with just being an authority figure without putting in work, then we won't see much innovation taking place.
