June 1st 2016 is World Milk Day and J. Astaphan & Co Ltd and Dutch Lady Milk will be observing the day here.
Since 2001, World Milk Day has been celebrated annually around the world and is geared at promoting the nutritional value of milk. Milk provides essential nutrients which are a source of fuel, growth and protection for the human body. This year, a number of schools have been invited to the Benjamin's Park Portsmouth where the Dutch Lady Farm will be located. According to a release, students will be given the opportunity to hear the story of milk, remove pictures and experience the process of obtaining milk from cows.
